Woolcock Partners Auctions
When you appoint us as your selling agent you will see a focused and determined team spring into action from day one following a tried and tested formula.
From appraisal, to strategy development and marketing, our dedication is focused on achieving the best possible result for you.
A typical auction campaign consists of three weeks of advertising and open homes with the auction held on the fourth Saturday usually on site.
The time frame demands action from interested buyers and sends a clear message to purchasers that this is a genuine seller committed to meeting the market.
3 Opportunities to Sell
Our sales results consistently show a clearance rate in excess of 80% within the 90-day period of the auction process.
How is this achieved?
Selling by auction does not mean you are putting all your eggs in the one basket.
Lets look at the first opportunity to sell.
The moment you give the authority to sell you are on the market.
Having a firm auction date set may inspire a cashed up buyer to offer you a figure that is hard to ignore and one you may in fact be happy to accept.
The second opportunity, auction day and the prospect of multiple bidders and a sale under the hammer on your terms i.e. a cash contract.
Finally it may be buyers for your property have not presented during the auction lead up so our strategy moves forward to ongoing marketing and promotion.
We believe the 3-phase auction process is a genuine alternative to marketing your property providing you with a distinctive point of difference in the marketplace.
To discuss in more detail how auctions may work for you feel free to talk to any of our selling agents.
Throughout our company’s history we’ve forged strong bonds with the community by providing sponsorship and support to many local schools, sporting clubs and groups and committees looking to raise much needed funds.
It seems that these days community fundraising involvement is needed more than ever and here at Woolcock Partners we continue to support a variety of fundraising initiatives mainly by providing valuable expertise in the form of charity auctioneers.
For example we have assisted and supported:
- The royal guide dogs of Tasmania
- Crime stoppers
- Clifford Craig Research Trust
- Think Pink Ball
- Relay for Life
- Queechy High School Red Q Art Auction and Fundraiser
- Camp Quality
- Launceston football Club
- Rotary Art Auction
- Stewart Street Childcare Centre
- Old Launcestonians Association
We believe strongly in providing ongoing fundraising support, for example we have been involved in the annual Clifford Craig Function since 1992, and understand the far-reaching benefits to the greater community.
If we can help your fundraising project please feel free to talk to anyone here at Woolcock Partners.
With time and practice comes experience and skill.
